GUSH - The Groove Usher - is founded to pursue "Dance Music" in October 2009.
We likely to play the Funk music but use the idea of all music around the world with cross over. GUSH have been started from "Dance Battle Scene". We perform with many big named Dancers and Artists. GUSH is the conductor of [The Fusion of Live Music x Dance] as an entertainment. We want to work as a bridge to music scene and dance scene.

Biography |
Akitoshi Kanbara is a singer song writer. He studied piano and organ in childhood.
He started to play guitar in high school, and met the gospel music.
He learned gospel from Yasumasa Awano (leader of a cappella chorus group Sound of Joy) and has been in "Gospel Tokyo" in every year.
After taking the voice training from Katsumi Suzuki, he entered Yamaha Music Academy.
He learn the skill of vocalist from MISUMI, Eri Kojima, Kyoichi Usamoto at the school.
He founded the band named "Soulful Zombies", and produced original CD and a compilation album during one and half year.
After break up of the band, he started as a solo artist named "Akitoshi".
He writes the original tunes in order to express the groove of black music by his own inspirations. Now he is doing gig on club and live house in Tokyo.

When she was age of 18, she entered in Tokyo School of Music and learn gospel.
During the student, she costarred with Hisoshi Itsuki, Fuyumi Sakamoto, Crystal Kay, Maki Okuro and etc..
She was a first asian person as a gospel choir in Apollo Theater.
After the graduate, she played in "Mega Funk Boy" as a choir and performed on Shibuya O-east etc.. She stated performing as a solo artist from 2009, and now doing the gigs in Tokyo.

He has the great sense in music, fashion, and staging performance.

He is a Sound Producer and TALKBOXER.
He has learned the classical piano from youth. In 10 years old, he has been impressed the Japanese techno group YMO, and started playing synthesizer.
He had started composition and track making by using desktop music (DTM).
Now, he produce other talented person, and performed 100 live events per year himself as an university student.
In 2010, He have collaborated with FINGAZZ who is the TALKBOX No.1 in the coming Japan performance as known as "I Can Make Ya", and became highly evaluated from Don Dolla who is the producer and talkboxer in the Sidney as known as "Generate Some Action!".
Because of these activity, he come under not only Japanese but also World"s Spotlight.
And He is the member and sound producer of the dance crewE-dealize (Youtube Movie)  .

In 2011, he have joined the big bandShimon Mukai and the Swingin' Devils as a manager, and played in saxophone quartet group the SaxoHonkerz as a baritone sax player.
